Kayla realized that schooling resources cost a lot of money but sustained improvements to the level and distribution of funding across local public school districts can lead to improvements in the level and distribution of student outcomes.
Funding schools can create a better education experience for students. According to the World Health Organization, people with disabilities are less likely to start school and have lower rates of staying and advancing in school.
Children living in underdeveloped and rural areas are two times more likely to be out of school than children in urban cities. Without educational backgrounds these children are less likely to find jobs to support themselves. Every additional year of education can increase a person’s future income by 10%. Best solution to ending poverty is education of the youth. Once educated, children can seek better jobs and strive for a better future.
Kayla started AccessSchool with a mission is to help students that don’t have the opportunities to get an education. She hopes to make school more accessible with their technology and resources. They will supply kids with school supplies and books which will make school more accessible and enjoyable place for students to learn!
